They are consistently good with their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and provide a great benchmark for the Hemel en Aarde Valley. We have planted these varieties further down the valley and it will be great to compare the wines in a few years when our vines mature. Look forward to catching up with you at the WOSA Megatasting. Great to see you liked the Hamilton Russell Chard 2008. They are consistently good with their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and provide a great benchmark for the Hemel en Aarde Valley. This past weekend the annual winex wine show took place in Cape Town. For the first time some of the stands introduce a twitter booth where people can leave comments. Some of estates that regularly featured in the 140 character sentences were Hamilton Russell, Constantia Glen, Reyneke and Ataraxia Chardonnay probably topping the charts.
