This year, for the first time, the public as well as the trade will have the chance to taste 50 Great Portuguese Wines.
The 2012 selection has been made by wine guru Julia Harding MW who, while selecting her 50 Great, was in the midst of co-authoring Wine Grapes with Jancis Robinson MW and Jose Vouillamoz.
As you know, Portugal is a treasure trove of exciting native grape varieties, so I’m very sure that some uniquely Portuguese gems will be on show, so why not check it out? I reckon it’ll quite possibly be the best tenner you’ve spent this year and look, even the Lambrini girls (see picture below) have moved on!
