Welcome to The Wine Detective website, where you can read about my wine travels and find out about tailor-made wine tasting events presented by me, Sarah Ahmed. 

I chose the name The Wine Detective because a glass of wine isn't just a great source of pleasure, but also a source of clues about the grapes from which the wine is made, the age of the wine, how much it costs and where it is from.

My mission is to help others unlock these clues and enhance their appreciation of wine. For companies, wine societies, and individuals, The Wine Detective tastings and staff training offer an informative and fun way of engaging with wine.
